Bienal de Radio cumple diez años de ser un espacio único en la
radiodifusión mundial y alcanzará su sexta edición del 15 al 19 de
mayo de 2006 en la ciudad de México. Desde 1996, esta magna reunión
muestra y reconoce lo mejor de las producciones radiofónicas
nacionales e internacionales. Además, ofrece a los participantes y
al público asistente una visión panorámica de lo que es la radio, a
través de conferencias, mesas redondas, encuentros y talleres; pero
también a través de las más ricas y atrevidas manifestaciones de
arte sonoro que alrededor de la radio han surgido.</FONT></P>
<P align=justify><FONT face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"
size=2>Desde el momento de su fundación, la Bienal de Radio fue el
acontecimiento radiofónico más importante de Latinoamérica. Diez
años después, su objetivo primordial continúa siendo el que le dio
origen y cauce: constituirse en un ámbito de reconocimiento a la
creatividad de quienes cotidianamente hacen la radio, no sólo
gracias al concurso de los mejores programas radiofónicos, sino con
la entrada de ideas frescas y propuestas nuevas que enriquecen este
medio electrónico.</FONT></P>
<P align=justify><FONT face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size=2>A
su convocatoria responden, cada dos años, los mejores hacedores de
la radio, los que están preocupados por que el medio crezca y rebase
con su fuerza los límites impuestos por la rutina o la desidia. A
ella acuden no sólo profesionales de la radio y los medios de
comunicación en general, sino también destacados académicos y
estudiantes de comunicación de diversas instituciones de educación
superior.</FONT></P>
<P align=justify><FONT face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"
size=2>Organizada por el Consejo Nacional para la Cultura y las
Artes, a través de Radio Educación, y con la participación de
numerosas instituciones nacionales e internacionales, cada Bienal
crea un espacio donde las ideas y las formas de hacer radio se
confrontan entre los participantes, que provienen de una gran
variedad de naciones: Francia, Alemania, España, Italia, Austria,
Holanda, Noruega, Rusia, Estados Unidos, Canadá, Ecuador, Colombia,
Venezuela, Perú, Argentina y Brasil, entre otras.</FONT><FONT
