Piracicaba, ingressou na Escola de Música de Piracicaba, reconhecida instituição
brasileira de ensino musical, tendo aí realizado seus estudos de piano, teoria
musical, solfejo e coral. Aos 17 anos , na mesma escola, começou seus estudos de
órgão na classe da organista Elisa Freixo, passando também a estudar harmonia,
contraponto e fuga com o maestro Ernst Mahle. Paralelamente, iniciou-se também
no estudo da regência coral.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoBodyText style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt; TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><SPAN
style="FONT-SIZE: 10.5pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Californian FB'">Após a conclusão de
seus estudos de graduação, ingressou no programa de Mestrado em Artes (Música)
da Universidade Estadual Paulista “Júlio de Mesquita Filho”, na cidade de São
Paulo, tendo sido orientado pela organista Dorotéa Kerr. Na ocasião, defendeu a
dissertação A música na liturgia católica urbana no Brasil após o Concílio
Ecumênico Vaticano II (1962-1965).<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoBodyText style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt; TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><SPAN
style="FONT-SIZE: 10.5pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Californian FB'">Participou da Académie
d’Orgue de Nemours-St. Pierre, na França, tendo aulas com André Isoir e Erik
Lebrun. Também participou do Cours d’Interpretation et Improvisation de
Romainmôtier, Suíça, tendo aulas com L. Ferdinando Tagliavinni, Guy Bovet, Marie
Claire Allain e Rudolf Lutz. Estudou cravo com Edmundo Hora, reconhecida
autoridade brasileira em práticas interpretativas historicamente orientadas.
Residiu um ano no Canadá, onde freqüentou a Universidade de Alberta, tendo aulas
com a organista Marnie Giesbrecht.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>

2001, integrou a diretoria da Associação Brasileira de Organistas (ABO), tendo
fundado em <st1:metricconverter w:st="on" ProductID="1997 a">1997
a</st1:metricconverter> revista CAIXA EXPRESSIVA, único periódico impresso sobre
órgãos no Brasil. Permaneceu no Conselho Editorial da revista até o ano de 2003.
Como membro da direção da ABO, organizou vários encontros de organistas
brasileiros e latino-americanos em diferentes anos. Nessa condição viajou ao
México em 2000, visitando vários órgãos do período colonial em diferentes
cidades e povoados mexicanos.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoBodyText style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt; TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><SPAN
style="FONT-SIZE: 10.5pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Californian FB'">Foi organista da Igreja
do Sagrado Coração de Jesus em Piracicaba e Professor de Música do Seminário dos
Frades Capuchinhos da Província de São Paulo. Atuou por 10 anos como organista e
regente coral na Universidade Metodista de Piracicaba. Foi diretor musical da
série de recitais de órgão Concertos Carmo de Música Erudita, projeto financiado
pela Petrobrás e realizado na Basílica Nossa Senhora do Carmo, em Campinas, ao
longo de três anos.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>

style="FONT-SIZE: 10.5pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Californian FB'">Em 2005 foi convidado
para representar o Brasil no XIV Festival Internacional de Música de Morélia,
México, onde apresentou obras de compositores brasileiros contemporâneos para
órgão. Como recitalista, apresentou-se <st1:PersonName w:st="on"
ProductID="em S￣o Paulo">em São Paulo</st1:PersonName>, Campinas, Rio de
Janeiro, Porto Alegre, Mariana e também na Argentina, na cidade de Buenos
