pianista e maestro José Alberto Kaplan faleceu hoje, 29/06/2009, após longo
período de enfermidade. Seu corpo será cremado nesta terça-feira, às
10h, no cemitério Caminho da Paz, em João Pessoa.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Trebuchet MS" size=2>Com vasta obra composicional, o Maestro
Kaplan foi um dos artistas mais importantes na história recente da música no
Nordeste - e particularmente na Paraíba -, tendo sido responsável pela
formação de inúmeros pianistas e compositores, e pela fundação de várias
entidades musicais.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face="Trebuchet MS" size=2>Acima de tudo, o Maestro Kaplan nos deixa
um exemplo de dignidade, sabedoria e ternura, que estarão sempre vivos em nosso
meio.</FONT></DIV>
