uma iniciativa do Centro de Estudos em Música e Mídia – MusiMid. Visando
ampliar os debates e estendê-los à comunidade interessada no tema, o grupo vem
realizando anualmente os Encontros de Música e Mídia: <i>As múltiplas vozes da
cidade</i> (2005); <i>Verbalidades, musicalidades: temas, tramas e trânsitos</i>
(2006), <i>As imagens da músic</i>a (2007), <i>O Brasil dos Gilbertos: Gilberto
Freyre, João Gilberto, Gilberto Gil e Gilberto Mendes</i> (2008), realizados no
SESC-Santos e no auditório Lupe Cotrim, Escola de Comunicações e Artes da
Universidade de São Paulo (ECA-USP).</span><o:p></o:p></p>

subtemas: 1) Som, culturas e comunicação; 2) Som, tecnologias e eletroacústica;
3) Som, discursos e mídia; 4) Música e relações de poder. O local de realização
será a ECA-USP, que oferecerá a infra-estrutura logística e institucional. A
programação é voltada ao público universitário e interessados em geral,
oferecendo certificados, mediante inscrição e frequência nas atividades.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
