<br>Por razones técnicas fuera del alcance de los editores invitados, el
dossier "Nuevos usos de la música en los fenómenos audiovisuales"
previsto para este número se pospone para un número posterior. TRANS 16
incluye 11 artículos que, en su conjunto, son representativos de la
variedad de temáticas, enfoques y perspectivas teóricas que hacen parte
hoy de la investigación musical: desde el universo de la música y los
mundos culturales de la juventud argentina a las relaciones entre el
lenguaje y las facultades musicales, pasando por la imbricación de la
música con las artes plásticas y escénicas. Además, el volumen se
completa con la habitual sección de reseñas. </div><div>
<br>TRANS- Revista Transcultural de Música es la revista científica de
la SIBE-Sociedad de Etnomusicología. Es una revista electrónica de
acceso abierto, arbitrada por pares anónimos que se publica una vez al
año. La página web de la revista cuenta con más de 30.000 visitas al mes
y es la puntera en la clasificación de las publicaciones científicas
españolas de música, siendo una de las referencias (etno)musicológicas
más importantes en América Latina, Portugal y España.</div>

number is postponed for a later volume. <i>TRANS 16</i> includes eleven
articles that, together, represent a variety of themes, approaches, and
theoretical perspectives that comprise contemporary musical research:
from the universe of music and cultural worlds of Argentine youth to the
relationship between language and musical faculties, as well as the
imbrications of music with plastic arts and performance. Moreover, the
