Revista de musicología, Call for papers 2013-2014<br><br>Dear friend,<br><br>We are glad to invite you to participate once again in the journal on Musicology Síneris (<a href="http://www.sineris.es/" target="_blank">http://www.sineris.es/</a>).<br><br>Our key editorial policy tries to embrace both academic research and the scientific disclosure, and the starting and pivotal point is music
(classic, urban popular, Ethnomusicology, cinema, dance, Billboard’s classics, and a long etcetera). This should to be treated from a transversal and creative perspective, encouraging interdisciplinarity and – why not – humour.<br><br>Síneris has a monthly periodicity and is articulated around different edges: research papers, essays, literary creation, opinion and protest, interviews and critiques – recent works, shows and books, but ‘oldies’ and forgotten classics will be also welcome.<br><br>The objective of this brief introduction is to encourage you to submerge yourselves in this experience of taking your shoes off and walking in this musicological grass, of enjoyment and knowledge. Original articles and collaborations can be sent until the 21st of each month (to <a ymailto="mailto:redaccion@sineris.es" href="mailto:redaccion@sineris.es">redaccion@sineris.es</a>) to be published the following number. However, dates are not closed, and
our mailboxes will be permanently open if you chose to send us part of your work. We also welcome articles in English and proposals on photografy and illustration. It will also provide undergraduate and postgraduate students with the opportunity to develop research skills, network with peers and
academics from a variety of research disciplines and to learn about current research in the field of music psychology and music education. <br><br>The study day will comprise 20-minute papers engaging with a variety of topics. There will also be a lunchtime concert, poster presentations and a practical workshop in which students can experience how theoretical research can be applied in a practical setting. <br><br>Interdisciplinary research and debate is strongly encouraged and we welcome papers from many disciplines including music psychology, music education, music therapy, sociology and neuroscience. <br><br>Proposals for both spoken and poster presentations are welcome from postgraduate students at all levels. Submissions should clearly show how the presentation topic relates to the study of music psychology and/or music education.
