<td align="justify" valign="top" width="100%"> <p>The
Centre for International Mobility (CIMO) awards scholarships for
foreign postgraduate students and young researches to carry out
postgraduate studies and research and teaching in Finnish universities.
The scholarship programme seeks to increase mobility to Finland, to
support the internationalisation of research and teaching and to foster
links between Finnish and foreign universities.<br>

The primary target group in the <a href="http://www.studyinfinland.fi/tuition_and_scholarships/cimo_scholarships/cimo_fellowships" target="_blank">CIMO Fellowships Programme</a> are Doctoral level students who will be doing their Doctorate (or Double Doctorate) at a Finnish university.</p>

please note that applications should be submitted at least five months
before the intended scholarship period.</p>

<td valign="top"><b>Elegibilidade</b></td>
<td align="justify" valign="top" width="100%"> <p>The
CIMO Fellowships programme is open to young Doctoral level students and
researchers from all countries and from all academic fields. However,
when decisions on scholarship are made, emphasis is given to applicants
from Russia, China, India, Chile, Brazil and North America.</p>
<p>Visiting Doctoral-level students and researchers who are doing their
Doctorate degree at some foreign university can also be considered
eligible, provided that the motivation letter of the hosting Finnish
university department presents exceptionally good grounds for such an
application.</p>

<td valign="top"><b>Benefícios</b></td>
<td align="default" valign="top" width="100%"> <p>The monthly allowance is €1,500 euros.</p>
<p><strong>Note:</strong> The scholarship is intended to cover living
expenses in Finland for a single person. No additional allowance for
housing is paid. Expenses due to international travel to and from
Finland are not covered by CIMO.</p>

<b>Requisitos</b>

<p>The visiting researcher
must have established contacts with a Finnish host university. The
Finnish university department wishing to host the student applies to
CIMO for the grant on behalf of the student/researcher.</p>

<p align="justify">
</p><p>Master's level studies or post-doctoral studies/research
are not supported in the programme and the prospective students cannot
apply for a CIMO Fellowship independently.</p>
<p>Applicants should not have resided in Finland for more than one year prior to submitting a CIMO Fellowship application. </p>
<p>The scholarship holder cannot receive another full scholarship or salary with a CIMO grant.</p>
<p>The applicant should have no more than one application being processed at a time. </p>

<p>Applications should be submitted on the <a href="http://www.studyinfinland.fi/instancedata/prime_product_julkaisu/cimo/embeds/studyinfinlandwwwstructure/43199_CIMO_Fellowships_Application_Form_September_2014.doc" target="_blank">CIMO Fellowships Application Form</a>,
which should be filled in electronically, printed and signed. The
application can be made in Finnish, Swedish or English. Additionally,
the following attachments are required for a CIMO Fellowship
application:</p>
<ol><li>A motivation letter from the applicant (the host institution), no more than one page;</li><li>Complete <em>Curriculum vitae</em> of the scholarship candidate;</li><li>Research plan (three to five pages).</li></ol>
