<p>O <strong>IV SIMPOM</strong> convida mestrandos, doutorandos e recém diplomados (mestres e doutores que defenderam entre outubro de 2014 e fevereiro de 2016), além de participantes ouvintes (graduandos, comunidade e profissionais) a participarem da programação do evento. A inscrição para participantes com ou sem apresentação de trabalhos se inicia 25/10/2015.</p>
<p>Nesta edição, a quarta (IV), o <strong>SIMPOM</strong> passa a ser latino-americano, abarcando os programas de pós-graduação em música e pós-graduandos de áreas afins. Os programas de pós-graduação em música na América Latina e Caribe estão presentes somente em alguns países, como Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Colômbia, México, Porto Rico, Uruguai e Venezuela. Embora uma grande quantidade de pesquisadores e alunos desenvolvem pesquisa em música em programas de pós-graduação em áreas afins e não na área da música. <strong>Esperamos abarcar também os pós-graduandos de programas de áreas afins (história, antropologia, educação, filosofia, sociologia, psicologia, entre outras), mas com pesquisas relacionadas à música. </strong></p>
<p>Solicitamos divulgação para os estudantes de mestrado e doutorado e recém diplomados.</p>
