Do acalanto da primeira infância à escuta ambulante com fones de ouvido, há uma longa história de maneiras como se vive a música: cantando, escutando, tocando um instrumento, compondo... Ainda que existam até hoje aperfeiçoamento em materiais ditos “tradicionais”, o que tem ganhado muita atenção é o uso da eletrônica em geral e suas aplicações digitais em particular.</span><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#222222;mso-fareast-language:PT-BR'><o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal style='text-align:justify;text-indent:36.0pt'><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Garamond","serif";color:#222222;mso-fareast-language:PT-BR'>No que diz respeito à <i>performance</i>, verifica-se que, inicialmente a fonografia elegeu a voz como fonte privilegiada das primeiras gravações, criando o hábito de escuta da <i>performance</i> sem a presença direta do corpo. Como consequência imediata, passou-se a escutar a voz a partir de um corpo imaginado. Não obstante, na <i>performance</i>, a voz realiza a transmissão emoções.</span><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#222222;mso-fareast-language:PT-BR'><o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal style='text-align:justify;text-indent:36.0pt'><i><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Garamond","serif";color:#222222;mso-fareast-language:PT-BR'>Vive-se a música </span></i><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Garamond","serif";color:#222222;mso-fareast-language:PT-BR'>de acordo com os estágios da vida: o bebê percebe de maneira diferente da criança, do adolescente, do adulto e do idoso.
