<div class=""><p>The Clara Lionel Foundation (CLF) was
founded in 2012 by Robyn “Rihanna” Fenty in honor of her grandparents,
Clara and Lionel Braithwaite. Grants funded by CLF are used to promote
global programs in the areas that Rihanna is most passionate about
including health, education, arts and culture. Having raised tens of
millions of dollars for charitable causes over the years, Rihanna’s
remarkable and inspiring legacy of service to others continues in CLF’s
mission, programs and partnerships.</p>
<p>The <a href="https://www.scholarsapply.org/claralionelfdn/instructions.php" target="_blank">Clara Lionel Foundation Global Scholarship Program</a> is administered by <a href="http://www.scholarshipmanagement.org/" target="_blank">Scholarship Management Services</a>,
a division of Scholarship America. Scholarship Management Services is
the nation's largest designer and manager of Scholarship and tuition
reimbursement programs for corporations, foundations, associations and
individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed,
religion, sexual orientation, age, gender or disability. <span style="line-height:20.8px">The
Scholarship Program to assist citizens or natives of Brazil, Barbados,
Cuba, Haiti, Grenada, Guyana, or Jamaica who plan to continue their
education in college in the United States.</span></p>

<a name="elegibilidade" class=""><h3><b>Elegibilidade</b></h3></a>
<div class=""><p>Applicants to the Scholarship Program must be:</p>
<ol><li>A citizen or native of Brazil, Barbados, Cuba, Haiti, Grenada,
Guyana, or Jamaica. Applicants must have been born in one of these
countries;</li><li>Eligible to study in the United States and been accepted to an
accredited four-year college or university located in the United States;</li><li>A first time college student, with fewer than 12 college credits
unless those credits were earned in high school, planning to enroll in
full-time undergraduate study at an accredited four-year college or
university in the United States for the entire 2016-2017 academic year.</li></ol>
<p><strong>Note:</strong> To be eligible to apply, applicants must be
accepted into an accredited U.S. University or college for the 2016-2017
academic year.</p>

<a name="valorfinanciado" class=""><h3><b>Valor Financiado</b></h3></a>
<div class=""><p>The student will receive an Award ranging from US$5,000.00 to US$50,000.00.</p>
<p><strong>Note:</strong> Awards are for undergraduate study only and may be used only for tuition expenses.</p>

<a name="restricao" class=""><h3><b>Restrições</b></h3></a>
<div class=""><p>No employee or consultant of the CLF or
Roc Nation, LLC, or any family member of such employee or consultant, is
eligible to apply.</p>
<p>No officer or director of the CLF, member of the Selection Committee,
employee, consultant or family member of any officer, director, or
member of the Selection Committee, is eligible to apply.</p>

<a name="formasolicitacao" class=""><h3><b>Forma de Solicitação</b></h3></a>
<div class=""><p>Applicants must apply by <a href="https://www.scholarsapply.org/claralionelfdn/register.php?" target="_blank">Register to Apply</a>:
candidates will need to read and agree to a consent statement, supply a
unique and valid email address, and create a username and password.</p>

<p>Required Documents</p>
<ol><li>A current, complete transcript of grades. Unofficial transcripts
must display student name, school name, grades and credit hours for each
course and term in which each course was taken;</li><li>A completed <a href="https://www.scholarsapply.org/uploads/clf/AA.pdf" target="_blank">Applicant Appraisal Form</a>;</li><li>A copy of the acceptance letter from the accredited four-year college or university you will be attending in the United States.</li></ol>

<a name="observacao" class=""><h3><b>Observações</b></h3></a>
<div class=""><p><span style="line-height:20.8px">Awards
may be renewed for up to three additional years or until a bachelor’s
degree is earned, whichever occurs first. Renewal is contingent upon
satisfactory academic performance maintaining a cumulative grade point
average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent) each semester.</span></p>
