<div class="gmail-text-justify"><p>The Austrian Science Fund (FWF) is
Austria's central funding organization for basic research. The purpose
of the FWF is to support the ongoing development of Austrian science and
basic research at a high international level. In this way, the FWF
makes a significant contribution to cultural development, to the
advancement of our knowledge-based society, and thus to the creation of
value and wealth in Austria.</p>
<p>The fundamental aim of the <a target="_blank" href="https://www.fwf.ac.at/fileadmin/files/Dokumente/Antragstellung/START-Programm/y_application-guidelines.pdf">Start Programme</a>
is the promotion of young scientists who have already produced
scientific/scholarly work of a top international standard and whose
research careers to date make it likely that they will continue to
perform first-rate research in the future.</p>

<a class="gmail-anchor" name="elegibilidade"><h3><b>Elegibilidade</b></h3></a>
<div class="gmail-text-justify"><p>Any researcher with a PhD or MD degree;
the doctoral degree must have been completed (award of certificate) no
less than two years and no longer than eight years before the deadline
for submission of applications.</p>
<p><span style="line-height:20.8px">Applicants must have the necessary
scientific/scholarly qualification (postdoctoral experience), to
perform the project. All applicants are expected to submit evidence of
independent scholarly/scientific activity as well as an outstanding
track record in the form of publications in international journals
and/or internationally recognised contributions to the development of
the field. </span></p>
<p><strong>Note:</strong> The programme is open to applicants from
around the world, but the project supported by the project money must be
carried out in Austria or under the responsibility of an Austrian
research institution. The Austrian research institution must confirm
that the necessary infrastructure to perform the research will be
available for the entire duration of the project.</p>

<a class="gmail-anchor" name="valorfinanciado"><h3><b>Valor Financiado</b></h3></a>
<div class="gmail-text-justify"><p>The amount of funding requested must be between <span style="line-height:20.8px">€</span>800,000.00 and <span style="line-height:20.8px">€</span>1,2 million for the entire funding period. The project must be planned for a duration of 72 months.</p>

<a class="gmail-anchor" name="formasolicitacao"><h3><b>Forma de Solicitação</b></h3></a>
<div class="gmail-text-justify"><p>The application must be submitted <a target="_blank" href="https://elane.fwf.ac.at/page/panel/loginpanel?5">Online</a>, in English, according with the <a target="_blank" href="https://www.fwf.ac.at/fileadmin/files/Dokumente/Antragstellung/START-Programm/y_application-guidelines.pdf">Application Guidelines</a>.</p>
<p>Once the application has been completed, a PDF cover sheet can be
generated. This cover sheet must be signed, stamped, and sent to the FWF
either by email to <a target="_blank" href="mailto:office@fwf.ac.at">office@fwf.ac.at</a> or conventional mail to the following address:</p>
