[ANPPOM-L] Art of Record Production Conference

Sorry for any cross posting. This is a final reminder about the 2nd Art 
of Record Production Conference being hosted by Prof. Simon Frith at 
Edinburgh University on the 8th - 10th September 2006. Alongside the 
program of academic papers there is an exciting series of presentations 
reflecting the conference's aims to provide an interface between 
academics and industry professionals in the field of record production. 
These will include:

Joe Boyd (Nick Drake, Pink Floyd, R.E.M, Fairport Convention, Nico, 
Incredible String Band, John Martyn, Richard & Linda Thompson, Toumani 
Diabate, Ivo Papasov, 10,000 Maniacs, Cubanismo, The Dinner Ladies) will 
be the keynote speaker for the conference.

Paul Theberge presenting and discussing mixes of Glenn Gould's 'Acoustic

Paul Borg presenting and discussing mixes of 'Ceasefire' by Emmanuel Jal 
and Abdel Gadir Salim

Launch of the first issue of the on-line Journal on the Art of Record 
Production (JARP) with guest editor, Prof. Simon Frith.
