         INVITACIÓN PARA PRESENTAR ARTÍCULOS EN TRANS - 2007

TRANS-Revista Transcultural de Música anuncia la próxima publicación de
su
número 11 (2007) con un monográfico dedicado a estudios de música
africana. El volumen presenta artículos inéditos de Ruth Stone, Kofi
Agawu, Simha Arom y Willie Anku, entre otros.

Invitamos a los investigadores interesados a enviar artículos inéditos
relacionados con el tema del monográfico. Estos pueden incluir
aproximaciones analíticas, etnográficas, estudios sobre la presencia
africana en Latinoamérica o Norteamérica, en la música popular urbana,
etc.

Asimismo se considerarán propuestas de artículos sobre cualquier otro
tema
incluido en la línea editorial de TRANS.

Las propuestas deben remitirse al Comité editorial antes del 30 de

                       ³AFRICAN MUSIC²
                   CALL FOR ARTICLES TRANS - 2007

TRANS-Transcultural Music Review is an  international peer-reviewed
on-line journal published by the Society for Ethnomusicology (SIbE).

In preparation for the forthcoming edition of its 11th volume (2007),
which includes a monograph devoted to the study of African music (with
unpublished contributions by Ruth Stone, Kofi Agawu, Simha Arom and
Willie
Anku, among others), the editors invites submission of unpublished
articles related to the topic of the monograph, that is, African music,
broadly considered, for its miscellanea section.  The editors specially
welcome analytical or ethnographic works that (re)consider the presence
of
African music in both Latin America and  North America, in popular
music,
etc.

TRANS is also please to accept article proposals of any other subject
and
book reviews that adjust to its editorial line.

          INVITATION À PRÉSENTER DES ARTICLES POUR TRANS (2007)

TRANS-Revue Transculturelle de Musique annonce la prochaine parition du
numéro 11 (2007), un numéro monographique dédié aux études de musique
africaine. Ce volume présente des articles inédits de Ruth Stone, Kofi
Agawu, Simha Arom et Willie Anku, entre autres.

Des chercheurs intéressés sont invités à nous envoyer des articles en
relation avec le sujet du numéro: des contributions analytiques,
ethnographiques, des études sur la présence africaine en Amérique
Latine
ou Amérique du Nord, dans la musique populaire urbaine, etc.

Des propositions d¹articles sur quelque autre sujet dans la ligne
éditoriale de TRANS seront aussi prises en considération.
