Below is a link to the call for papers for:

"Waking Up From History: Music, Time, and Place," the 2007 Pop Conference at Experience Music Project, April 19-22, 2007 in Seattle, Washington. This will be the fifth annual incarnation of the Pop Conference, which brings together academics, journalists, critics, and musicians to discuss issues in popular music. Academics are especially encouraged to come and try a presentation that might not work in more conservative conferences.
