CONGRESO INTERNACIONAL:
ESPACIOS SONOROS Y AUDIOVISUALES.  CREACIÓN, REPRESENTACIÓN Y DISEÑO.
JIEM 2013 - 19ª JORNADAS DE INFORMÁTICA Y ELECTRÓNICA MUSICAL
Del 12 al 15 DE MARZO DE 2013,  Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, España

Este congreso pretende ofrecer un foro de debate amplio y profundo en torno
al concepto de espacio sonoro poniendo en común las artes del tiempo, con
las artes del espacio. Se trata con ello de dar cabida a nuevos ámbitos de
conocimiento, tanto científicos como artísticos en torno a este campo.
Partimos de un concepto básico, el de "espacio sonoro". El congreso incluye
sesiones científicas (ponencias, conferencias y mesas redondas) a
desarrollar en el campus de la UAM, y dos conciertos acusmáticos en el
Centro Reina Sofía. Los temas principales serán: Las relaciones
espacio-tiempo en la Música y en la Arquitectura,  el Espacio Sonoro, la
Música Electroacústica y otros.

SOUND SPACES AND AUDIOVISUAL SPACES:  CREATION, REPRESENTATION AND DESIGN.
JIEM 2013  19th COMPUTER AND ELECTRONIC MUSIC DAYS
12th-15th MARCH 2013, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM), Spain

This conference seeks to offer a forum of wide and deep debate around the
concept of sound space sharing knowledge between temporary arts and spatial
arts. The objective deals with comprehending areas of knowledge in a new
scope, so much scientific as artistic around this field. We start with a
basic concept, that one of sound space. The conference includes scientific
sessions (lectures, communications and round-table sessions) to be
developed in the campus of UAM, and two acusmatic concerts in Centro Reina
Sofía. The main topics include: the relationships space-time in Music and
Architecture,  Sound Space,  Electroacustic music, and other topics.
