Olá, o Diretor do Integra Lab, Jame Bullock, me escreveu perguntando quem
teria interesse de ir pra lá. O lab é bem legal e eles trabalham com o
desenvolvimento de um sistema para Live Elecronics que é tipo um "Ableton
Live", mas roda Pd na base. É bem legal porque a interface facilita muito
pra quem não programa nada, nem mesmo em Pd.

Enfim, é um lab interdisciplinar, pra compositores, músicos, tecnólogos.
Acho que vale a pena o intercâmbio. Segue mais sobre o Lab e o email dele.
Ele pede contatos de professores a fim de mandar alunos, sintam-se à
vontade pra falar com ele.

Integra Lab

Integra Lab is an interdisciplinary research lab based at Birmingham
Conservatoire, with a focus on musician-computer interaction. The lab was
created in 2009 as a spin-off from the international Integra
Project<http://www.bcu.ac.uk/pme/conservatoire/research/research-projects>

supported by the Culture 2007–2013 programme of the European Union.

Integra Lab provides a unique opportunity for researchers in interactive
music technology, user-centred design, and digital signal processing to
collaborate directly with performers and composers in the creation of
musically meaningful experiences. Being based at Birmingham Conservatoire
enables the flow of ideas between disciplines needed to conduct research
that addresses real-world problems encountered in artistic practice.

 The main reason I am writing is to find out if you know of anyone in
Brazil, who might be interested in a funded PhD studentship in the UK at
our music technology research lab at Birmingham Conservatoire (
http://www.bcu.ac.uk/pme/conservatoire/research/integra-lab).

 The studentship would be supported by the Science Without Borders
programme.

 It would also be incredibly helpful if you could let me know the names /
email addresses of any professors (e.g. at USP) who might be interested in
sending students to our lab on placement.
