  *International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS)*  *Descrição*

The Endeavour International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (hereafter
referred to as IPRS) is funded by the Australian Government and awarded to
international students wishing to undertake graduate research degree
studies at the University of Melbourne. Each year the University of
Melbourne offers about 35 new IPRSs.

  *Elegibilidade*

To be considered for an IPRS, applicants need to apply for scholarship and
candidature in a graduate research degree course(eg. masters by research,
PhD or other research doctorate) at the University of Melbourne. Further

 *Benefícios*

IPRSs cover full tuition fees for each year of the course and the annual
Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC).

Students awarded an IPRS by the University of Melbourne normally receive a
APAInt as well which provides a living allowance, thesis allowance and
other benefits:

   1. Living allowance of $25,392 per annum (2014 rate);
   2. Relocation Grant of $2,000 awarded to students who are moving from
   interstate in order to study at the University of Melbourne or $3,000
   awarded to those who are moving from overseas;
   3. Thesis Allowance of up to $420 for masters by research and up to $840
   for PhD and other doctorate by research candidates;
   4. Paid sick, maternity and parenting leave.

The duration of the scholarships depends on the scholarship and the course
for which the scholarship is awarded.

Selection will be based on the eligibility criteria and academic merit.

The only exceptions are:

   1. Applicants for the Human Rights Scholarship must also complete
the International
   HRS Application

   2. Students who are already enrolled in the course for which they seek a
   scholarship must apply online via the Student

be submitted with the required documents,
   including Referee Reports, by the closing date);
   3. Applicants wishing to reapply must submit a new application via
the Student
   Portal <http://www.portal.unimelb.edu.au/> and also submit a 'Form to
