*CHAMADA DE TRABALHOS*

A Escola de Música e o Programa de Pós-Graduação da Universidade Federal do
Rio de Janeiro anunciam a realização do VI Simpósio Internacional de
Musicologia da UFRJ em conjunção com o Colóquio Internacional do Instituto
Ibero-Americano de Berlim e da Universidade das Artes de Berlim, a
realizar-se no Rio de Janeiro, de 10 a 15 de agosto de 2015. O evento é
resultado do acordo de cooperação entre as instituições do Brasil e da
Alemanha e sua realização no Rio de Janeiro conta com o apoio da Academia
Brasileira de Música.

O VI SIM_UFRJ “Trânsitos Culturais: Música entre América Latina e Europa”
propõe debater o tema em escopo abrangente das diversas tradições
culturais, contextos e tempos históricos, sendo de especial interesse do
Colóquio Internacional IAI / UdK aprofundar o conhecimento sobre as
“Trajetórias da música erudita entre América Latina e Europa, 1945-1970”. O
evento propicia uma aproximação entre especialistas de diversos países e
convida para a submissão de trabalhos que abordem a música sob os seguintes
enfoques:

·                    diálogos culturais, circulação, transferência e
apropriação de ideias, repertórios, estéticas, estilos, técnicas, práticas
musicais e ideologias

·                    música e rupturas artísticas e culturais

·                    representação e tradução cultural

·                    migração, exílio e viagens

·                    identidade, alteridade, nacionalismo e exotismo

·                    cultura, sociedade e política

·                    estudos interdisciplinares: artes visuais, teatro,
literatura, filosofia, história, sociologia e antropologia cultural

·                    patrimônio e acervos musicais

·                    políticas institucionais de intercâmbio científico,
artístico e cultural entre América Latina e Europa

·                    estratégias discursivas na relação entre arte e ciência

·                    conhecimento e poder

O evento reunirá destacadas personalidades da América Latina, Europa e EUA,
visando intensificar a interlocução entre a comunidade de pesquisadores de
diversos países. Os trabalhos selecionados serão publicados nos Anais,
em formato
impresso e eletrônico, disponibilizados gratuitamente no site da Escola de
Música UFRJ e distribuídos para bibliotecas, instituições de pesquisa e
culturais, do Brasil e do exterior, e programas de pós-graduação.

*NORMAS DE SUBMISSÃO*

As propostas devem ser enviadas até 21 de abril de 2015 para o e-mail
sim em musica.ufrj.br e endereçadas à presidente da Comissão Científica,
conforme instruções a seguir.

1. O texto deve ser inédito e enfocar questões relacionadas ao tema do
SIM_UFRJ2015.

2. Cada comunicação terá a duração de 20 minutos para apresentação do
trabalho. Recomenda-se que o texto a ser publicado tenha entre 3.000 e
6.000 palavras e não ultrapasse 15 páginas, incluindo imagens e referências
bibliográficas.

3. O texto em versão integral pode ser apresentado em português, espanhol,
inglês, francês, italiano ou alemão. Recomenda-se, no entanto, que a
comunicação oral seja realizada em português, espanhol ou inglês. Propostas
em português, espanhol, francês, italiano ou alemão devem incluir os
seguintes elementos também em inglês: título do trabalho, resumo,
palavras-chave e breve currículo do(s) autor(es).

4. A redação acadêmica do texto deve seguir as normas ABNT e as citações
pelo sistema autor-data.

5. O texto deve ser enviado em arquivo eletrônico, editorado em Microsoft
Word ou em Rich Text Format. O arquivo em formato *.doc, *.docx ou *.rtf
deve ser nomeado <SobrenomeAutor_submissao>.

6. A página de rosto deve conter o seguinte *cabeçalho*:

Imagens, tais como ilustrações, textos musicais, tabelas, figuras, quadros
etc. devem ser inseridas no corpo do texto como figura e identificadas na
parte inferior com a devida numeração e legenda que expresse sinteticamente

as imagens deverão ser enviadas em arquivos individuais em formato .jpeg ou

*CONVOCATORIA*

La Escuela de Música y su Programa de Posgrado anuncian la realización del
VI Simposio Internacional de Musicología de la Universidad Federal de Río
de Janeiro en conjunto con la Conferencia Internacional del Instituto
Iberoamericano de Berlín y la Universidad de Artes de Berlín que tendrá
lugar en Río de Janeiro desde el 10 hasta el 15 de agosto de 2015.

El evento es el resultado del acuerdo de cooperación entre las
instituciones de Brasil y Alemania y su realización en Río de Janeiro
cuenta con el apoyo de la Academia Brasileña de Música.

El VI SIM_UFRJ "Tránsitos culturales: Música entre América Latina y Europa"
propone discutir en toda su amplitud el tema de las diversas tradiciones
culturales, contextos y momentos históricos, siendo de especial interés
para el Coloquio Internacional IAI/ UdK profundizar el conocimiento acerca
de las "Trayectorias de la música erudita entre América Latina y Europa,
1945-1970". El evento promueve un acercamiento entre especialistas de
diferentes países e invita a la presentación de trabajos que traten la
música desde los siguientes enfoques:

·                    diálogos culturales, circulación, transferencia y
apropiación de ideas, repertorios, estética, estilos, técnicas, prácticas
musicales y ideologías

·                    música y rupturas artísticas y culturales

·                    representación y traducción cultural

·                    migración, exilio y viajes

El evento reúne a destacadas figuras de Latinoamérica, Europa y los Estados
Unidos, con el fin de intensificar un diálogo entre la comunidad de
investigadores de diversos países. Los trabajos seleccionados se publicarán
en los Anales, en formato impreso y electrónico, disponible gratuitamente
en el sitio de la Escuela de Música de la UFRJ y distribuido a bibliotecas,
instituciones culturales y de investigación en Brasil y en el extranjero, y
programas de posgrado.

Las propuestas pueden ser enviadas antes del 21 de abril de 2015 a la
dirección de e-mail sim em musica.ufrj.br y dirigidas a la presidenta de la
Comisión Científica, conforme a las instrucciones indicadas.

1. El texto debe ser inédito y plantear cuestiones relacionadas con el tema
del SIM_UFRJ2015.

2. A cada comunicación se le asignará una duración de 20 minutos para la
presentación del trabajo. Se recomienda que, para publicación, el texto
consista de unas 3.000 a 6.000 palabras, sin exceder las 15 páginas,
incluyendo imágenes, ejemplos musicales y referencias bibliográficas.

3. El texto en su versión íntegra puede ser presentado en portugués,
español, inglés, francés, italiano o alemán. Se recomienda, sin embargo,
que la comunicación oral se realice en portugués, español o inglés. Las
propuestas en portugués, español, francés, italiano o alemán también
deberán incluir los siguientes elementos en inglés: título del trabajo,
resumen, palabras clave y breve currículo del (los) autor(es).

4. La redacción académica del texto debe seguir las normas ABNT y las citas
deben adherirse al sistema autor-fecha.

5. El texto debe ser enviado en archivo electrónico, editado en Microsoft
Word o en Rich Text Format. El archivo en formato *.doc, *.docx o *.rtf
debe ser titulado <ApellidoAutor_ presentación>.

Imágenes tales como ilustraciones, textos musicales, tablas, figuras,
cuadros, etc. deben ser insertadas en el texto como figura e identificadas
en la parte inferior con la debida numeración y leyenda que exprese
sintéticamente el significado de las informaciones allí recogidas. Después
de la aprobación del trabajo, las imágenes deben ser enviadas en archivos

The School of Music and the Graduate Studies Program announce the
VI International Symposium of Musicology of the Federal University of Rio
de Janeiro in conjunction with the Ibero-American Institute-Berlin (IAI)
and the University of Arts-Berlin (UdK), to be held in Rio de Janeiro from
August 10 to 15, 2015. The event is the result of the cooperation agreement
between the institutions of Brazil and Germany, and its realization in Rio
de Janeiro has the support of the Brazilian Academy of Music.

The VI SIM_UFRJ “Cultural Exchanges: Music Between Latin America and
Europe” proposes to approach this theme in broad scope of diverse cultural
traditions, contexts and historical times, and of special interest to the
International Colloquium IAI / UdK is to increase knowledge of the
"Trajectories of art music between Latin America and Europe, 1945-1970."
This Symposium provides an opportunity for scholars to engage in the
discussion of the following issues:

•              cultural dialogues, circulation, transfer and appropriation
of ideas, repertories, aesthetics, styles, techniques, musical practices
and ideologies

•              music and artistic or cultural ruptures

•              representation and cultural translation

•              migration, exile and travels

•              identity, otherness, nationalism and exoticism

•              culture, society and politics

•              interdisciplinary studies: visual arts, theatre, literature,
philosophy, history, sociology and cultural anthropology

•              heritage and collections

•              institutional policies of scientific, artistic and cultural
exchange between Latin America and Europe

•              discursive strategies in the relationship between art and
science

•              knowledge and power

The Symposium will gather prominent specialists from Latin America, Europe,
and the USA, thus furthering the dialogue among communities of scholars
from various countries. The selected papers will be published in the
Proceedings, in printed and electronic formats, and will be available at no
cost on the site of the School of Music of the UFRJ. It will be distributed
to libraries, research and cultural institutions in Brazil and abroad, and
graduate study programs.

*SUBMISSION GUIDELINES*

Proposals must be sent to the e-mail sim em musica.ufrj.br no later than April
21, 2015, and shall be addressed to the Program Committee Chair according
to the instructions below.

1. Proposals must be original works and address issues related to the
conference theme SIM_UFRJ2015.

2. Each paper will have 20 minutes for oral presentation. The full text to
be published should include between 3,000 and 6,000 words and not exceed 15
pages, including illustrations and bibliographic references.

3. Proposals may be written in Portuguese, Spanish, English, French,
Italian or German. It is highly recommended, however, that oral
presentations be in Portuguese, Spanish or English. Proposals in
Portuguese, Spanish, French, Italian or German must include the following
information in English: title of the paper, abstract, keywords, and
author(s)’s short curriculum(a).

4. Academic writing must follow ABNT guidelines, and quotations must be
indicated in the text by the author-date system.

5. Proposals must be sent by e-mail as an attachment in Microsoft Word
*.doc, *.docx or Rich Text Format [*.rtf]. Please, identify the electronic

Die Musikschule und das Graduiertenprogramm kündigen das VI Internationale
Musikwissenschaftliche Symposium der Staatlichen Universität von Rio de
Janeiro in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Ibero-Amerikanischen Institut Berlin
(IAI) und der Universität der Künste (UdK) an, das in Rio de Janeiro vom
10. bis 15. August 2015 stattfinden wird.
Die Veranstaltung ist das Ergebnis einer Kooperation von deutschen und
brasilianischen Institutionen. Die Durchführung in Rio de Janeiro wird von
der Brasilianischen Musikakademie unterstützt.

Das VI SIM_UFRJ „Kulturaustausch: Musik zwischen Lateinamerika und Europa“
wird das Thema im Hinblick auf verschiedene kulturelle Traditionen,
Kontexte und historische Ereignisse in ganzer Breite beleuchten, wobei das
besondere Interesse des Internationalen Kolloquiums IAI / UdK darauf
gerichtet ist, das Wissen um die „Flugbahnen der Kunstmusik zwischen
Lateinamerika und Europa 1945-1970“ zu erweitern. Das Symposium ermöglicht
es interessierten Forschern, an der Diskussion folgender Aspekte
teilzunehmen:

Das Symposium wird prominente Spezialisten aus Lateinamerika, Europa, und
den Vereinigten Staaten zusammenbringen, um den Dialog zwischen Forschern
verschiedener Länder voranzubringen. Die ausgewählten Referate werden im
Tagungsband gedruckt und elektronisch publiziert, sie werden kostenlos auf
der Seite des Musikinstituts der UFRJ erhältlich sein. Der Tagungsband wird
