On September 4, 2015, and in the context of a conference organized by the
IMS Regional Association for Eastern Slavic Countries that took place at
the Russian Institute for the History of Arts, the Stravinsky scholar and
Dean of the Musicology Faculty Natalia Braginskaya announced that
Stravinsky’s long lost *Funeral Song*, Op. 5 (1908) had been found in the
Conservatoire’s library

IMS Inter-congressional Symposium on *Music as Art, Artifact, and Fact:
Music Research in the 21st Century*, to be held at the University of
Stavanger, Department of Music and Dance, Bjergsted in Stavanger, Norway,
1-6 July 2016. Proposals should be submitted by October 1, 2015 via the
website http://conventor.web123.no/UiS/IMS2016/

*December 1, 2015–January 15, 2016:*

Twentieth quinquennial congress of the IMS, to be held at the Tokyo
University of the Arts in Tokyo, Japan, 19-23 March 2017. Theme: *Musicology:
Theory and Practice, East and West*. Proposals should be submitted between
December 1, 2015, and January 15, 2016, via the website
