Princeton University is a vibrant community of scholarship and learning
that stands in the nation's service and the service of humanity. Chartered
in 1746, Princeton is the fourth-oldest college in the United States.
Princeton is an independent, coeducational, nondenominational institution
that provides undergraduate and graduate instruction in the humanities,
social sciences, natural sciences and engineering.

The Hodder Fellowship
<http://arts.princeton.edu/fellowships/hodder-fellowship/> will be given to
artists and writers of exceptional promise to pursue independent projects
at Princeton University during the academic year. The Hodder is designed to
provide fellows with a year of “studious leisure” to undertake significant
new work.

*Note:* The fellows spend an academic year (September 1-July 1) at
Princeton, but no formal teaching is involved.

*Elegibilidade*

Writers, composers, choreographers, visual artists, performance artists, or
other kinds of artists or humanists who have “much more than ordinary
intellectual and literary gifts”; they are selected more “for promise than
for performance". Advanced degrees preferred, although not required.

*Note: *Non-US citizens are welcome to apply.
*Benefícios*

US$80,000.00 for the ten-month appointment.
