The Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University is
dedicated to creating and sharing transformative ideas across the arts,
humanities, sciences, and social sciences. The Institute encourages
applicants to explore the people, programs, and collections that make the
Radcliffe Institute a home to big thinkers, new ideas and cutting-edge
research.

The Individual Fellowship Program in Creative Artists

Program that is part of the Radcliffe Institute Fellowships, that are
designed to support scholars, scientists, artists, and writers of
exceptional promise and demonstrated accomplishment who wish to pursue work
in academic and professional fields and in the creative arts. The Program
covers the following disciplines:

   1. Creative Writing;
   2. Journalism;
   3. Playwriting or Screenwriting;
   4. Performing Arts;
   5. Music;
   6. Film and Video;
   7. Visual Arts.

Elegibilidade

   1. Artists and writers need not have a Ph.D. or an M.F.A. to apply;
   2. Applicants in creative arts cannot be students in doctoral or
   master’s programs at the time of application submission unless the
   dissertation has been accepted by advisors.

Benefícios

   1. Stipends are funded up to US$77,500.00 for one year with additional
   funds for project expenses;
   2. Some support for relocation expenses is provided where relevant. If
   so directed, Radcliffe will pay the stipend to the fellow’s home
   institution.
