Descrição
The Burning Man Organization aims to facilitate and extend the culture that
has issued from the Burning Man event into the larger world.
The Global Art Grant
<https://burningman.org/culture/burning-man-arts/grants/global/> funds
highly interactive, community-driven works of art that prioritize community
involvement in their development, execution and display. The Program funds
art that is accessible to the public, civic in scope and prompts the viewer
to act. The Program likes art that can be experienced in more ways than
visually - art that is touched, heard or experienced as well as viewed.

Elegibilidade
Can apply:
1. Individual artists;
2. Art groups, organizations and collectives (the Program do not require
groups to have nonprofit 501(c)3 status);
3. Artists located anywhere on the globe; there are no geographic
restrictions placed on those who can apply;
4. While the Program does welcome projects from established artists,
the focus is to encourage, support and take risks on new and emerging
artists;
5. Anyone who’s previously applied for or received any type of Burning
Man (or BRAF) gant;
6. The Program funds art projects that are proposed by people,
creatives, artists, designers, community members who align with the Burning
Man ethos and ten Principles based cultural standards. Grantees may or may
not have been to a Burning Man event, nor is it a requirement to receive a
Global Art Grant.
Valor Financiado
The grants range between US$500.00 and US$10,000.00. The Organization most
commonly award between US$3,000.00 and US$6,000.00. The
Organization typically funds around fifteen-twenty projects a year.
