Achei o artigo de Cook autojustificativo ao tentar demonstrar, em pouco
mais de duas páginas, que Ewell não o entendeu. O argumento final, a pedir
que se leve em consideração que Schenker era judeu e sua esposa morreu num
campo de concentração não faz sentido à luz da exposição de Ewell. Ao fim e
ao cabo, ele acaba por servir de ilustração para a tese à qual se
contrapõe. Tudo leva a crer que Cook desferiu um golpe contra si mesmo.
