[ANPPOM-L] CFP: International Machaut Society sessions at Kalamazoo

The International Machaut Society is sponsoring three interdisciplinary
sessions for the 42nd International Congress on Medieval Studies at
Kalamazoo (May 10-13, 2007):

I. Performing Machaut in the Twenty-First Century II. Re-evaluating
Sources: New Examinations of Machaut's Manuscripts III. Machaut, Chaucer
and Their Contemporaries

We invite proposals on either of these topics, interpreted as broadly as
you like.  (nb: the second session, on sources, was designed
specifically to take advantage of the much-appreciated availability of
the Vg source, but other source-based studies are welcome as well.)
Proposals should include an abstract, as well as the Abstract Cover
Sheet required by the Medieval Institute (available at
http://www.wmich.edu/medieval/congress/42cfp/forms.html).
 
All proposals should be sent to me, at eupton em humnet.ucla.edu, as soon
as you can; they must be received by 15 September 2006.  If you have
trouble sending the Abstract Cover Sheet via email (it has been known to
be tricky), send me the abstract by email and then send a hard copy with
the printed-out and filled-out Abstract Cover Sheet to me at my office
address, given below.
