Gostaria de dividir com vocês a informação de que a peça Macunaíma, encomendada pela Orquestra Filarmônica de Nova York ao compositor carioca Arthur Kampela estreará hoje pela mesma no teatro Symphony Space, com reprise no dia 19 no Metropolitan Museum. Vejam informações e vídeo no link abaixo. É um grande orgulho ter um compositor brasileiro num evento estreado por uma orquestra de tal projeção e uma grande alegria para mim saber que o compositor de quem conheço o trabalho e tenho grande admiração receba este reconhecimento.
