*Erasmus Mundus Consortium in European Literary Cultures (CLE): Master
Scholarship for non-European Students*


*Descrição*

The Master’s Course in European Literary Cultures (CLE) aims at preparing
European and International graduates for professions in which is requested
the knowledge of at least three languages and the different methodologies in
at least three cultural fields as for example: History of Literature, Texts
Analysis, History, History of Art, and History of Ideas.

The main objective of the Master Course is to train a cultural operator/a
researcher/a teacher to have a good range of methodologies and a high
cultural appreciation of the different contexts of European culture which
enable a comparison with other cultures.

The programme has four main learning units:

   1. European Literatures, Language;
   2. Methodologies and Linguistic Sciences;
   3. European History and Civilization;
   4. Final research work.

The Program is part of the Erasmus Mundus (EM) programme initiated by the
European Commission to enhance and promote European higher education
throughout the world. The consortium offering this Master’s programme is
made up of: Alma Mater Studiorum Università di Bologna (Italia); Université
de Haute-Alsace (Mulhouse); Université de Strasbourg (France); and
Aristoteleion Panepistimion Thessaloniki (Greece).

The application deadline is December 15, 2010.

*Elegibilidade*

Students applying for the Master Course CLE must have a good level
first-cycle degree in a discipline of relevance to CLE and a recognised
level of proficiency in English and in the language of instruction of the
consortium institution chosen for the first Master year course. A B1 minimum
level <http://europass.cedefop.europa.eu/LanguageSelfAssessmentGrid/en> is
required.

*Benefícios*

The scholarship amount for non-EU nationals is 48.000 EUR.

*Duração da Bolsa*

The duration of the full-time programme is 24 months.

*Restrições*

As of the academic year 2008/2009 the number of applications by third
country students must be limited to three Erasmus Mundus Masters Courses
maximum. In the case they apply to more than three Courses they will
automatically be excluded from the selection for an Erasmus Mundus
scholarship.
