MusM at Manchester: Funding Opportunities

The department of Music at the University of Manchester is pleased to announce that it is offering up to three full-fee bursary awards (home/EU rate, full-time or part-time) for courses beginning in September 2014. In addition, the School of Arts, Languages and Cultures is offering a total of 15 full-fee bursary awards.

We offer three taught masters courses in music:

?  MusM Musicology (including Ethnomusicology)

?  MusM Composition

?  MusM Electroacoustic Composition

All of our courses have the flexibility to accommodate your individual interests and aspirations while providing you with a solid theoretical and methodological foundation in your chosen discipline and engaging you in the latest debates and developments.

If you wish to be considered for an award, you will need to apply for a place on your chosen course by 14 February 2014. You will then need to submit a separate funding application by 3 March 2014.
