NOTICE OF VACANCY

THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA AT GREENSBORO

 

Position: Music Theory Lecturer, one-year, non-tenure track appointment

 

Date of Appointment: August 1, 2013

 

Salary: Commensurate with experience

 

Application deadline: March 15, 2013 or until filled

 

Qualifications: 

Ph.D. in Music theory preferred, ABD considered. Applicants should have a
successful record of university-level teaching experience and are expected
to be engaged in professional activities in their area of expertise.

 

Responsibilities:     

Teach a wide range of music theory courses to undergraduate and graduate
music majors and minors, including the undergraduate theory and ear-training
sequence as well as other courses as determined by the needs of the music
theory area and the qualifications and interests of the candidate.
