divulgo a abertura da chamada de trabalhos para a quinta edição do Simpósio
Performa Clavis, que neste ano será sediado pelo Instituto de Artes da
Unicamp.

Trata-se de um evento colaborativo entre os Programas de Pós-Graduação em
Música das três universidades estaduais paulistas (Unicamp, Usp, Unesp) e
voltado aos instrumentos de teclas.

O Simpósio PERFORMA CLAVIS INTERNACIONAL foi idealizado como uma atividade
de cooperação trilateral entre os Programas de Pós-Graduação em Música das
três Universidades do Estado de São Paulo, sediados nos Institutos de Artes
da Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP) e da Universidade Estadual
Paulista (UNESP) e na Escola de Comunicações e Artes da Universidade de São
Paulo (USP). Desde sua primeira edição, em 2010, assume como objetivo
prioritário o fortalecimento, no cenário acadêmico e artístico nacional,
das pesquisas e práticas artísticas e de docência na área de Performance e
das Práticas Interpretativas, com ênfase nos instrumentos de teclado, a
saber: piano, fortepiano, cravo, clavicórdio e órgão. Esta quinta edição do
PERFORMA CLAVIS INTERNACIONAL propõe o tema "Diálogos entre repertórios
históricos e atuais para instrumentos de teclado". Será sediada pelo
Instituto de Artes da Universidade Estadual de Campinas e contará com a
participação de professores de instrumentos de teclado das três
instituições promotoras, bem como três convidados internacionais: o
organista Emmanuel Hocdè (Conservatoire à Rayonnement Intercommunal
d'Aubergenville), o cravista Peter Sykes (Boston University e Julliard
School of Music) e o pianista Winston Choi (Roosevelt University). Em suas
edições bienais, o simpósio tem cumprido sua proposta de congregar
pesquisadores, artistas, docentes e estudantes da área em um ambiente de
cooperação científica e colaboração artística, no qual estudos reflexivos,
teóricos e críticos, práticas artísticas e de docência revelam-se como
territórios complementares.

The PERFORMA CLAVIS INTERNACIONAL Symposium has been conceived as a
trilateral cooperation effort between the graduate music programs of three
universities in the state of São Paulo: the Institutes of Arts of the
University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and the Universidade Estadual Paulista
(UNESP) and the School of Communications and Arts of the University of São
Paulo (USP). Since its first edition in 2010, its priority is to
strengthen, within the national academic and artistic realm, the
scholarship of research, artistic practice and teaching in keyboard
performance and interpretive practices, namely piano, fortepiano,
harpsichord, clavichord and organ. The theme of this fifth edition of
PERFORMA CLAVIS INTERNACIONAL is "The Dialogue Between Historical and
Current Keyboard Repertoire". It will be hosted by the Institute of Arts of
the University of Campinas with the participation of keyboard professors
from the three promoting institutions, as well as three international
guests: Emmanuel Hocdé (France), organ (Conservatoire à Rayonnement
Intercommunal of Aubergenville), Peter Sykes (USA), harpsichord (Boston
University and Julliard School of Music), and Winston Choi (USA), piano
(Roosevelt University). The biennial symposium has fulfilled its purpose to
bring together researchers, musicians, professors, and students in an
environment of scientific cooperation and artistic collaboration where
reflective, theoretical and critical study and artistic and teaching
practices reveal themselves as complementary territories.
