Subject: [eblida-news] Save EU copyright reform! Launch of Copywrongs
Campaign Website

Dear members, colleagues and friends of EBLIDA,

Please find the campaign website Save Copyright Reform at this link
http://copywrongs.eu/ (German version here http://copywrongs.eu/de),
created by the people from copywrong.eu.

This campaign website offers you the opportunity to select from several
proposals you would like to address to MEPs.

We advise you to select at least the 2 following ones:
- Extend you rights beyond borders (click I want this). It is about
harmonising exceptions and limitations and making them mandatory across the
EU.
- Enable libraries to do their job online (click I want this). It is about
allowing libraries to lend e-books.

Of course other proposals are important too, and you are welcome to discuss
as you see fit.

At EBLIDA, we are working on the amendments and are following-up with MEPs
on the issue of copyright reform especially with regard to libraries, but
we need your support to make it a success.

It would be great if each of your national associations could contact MEPs
from your countries and ask them to support the report. Details are
available on the website http://copywrongs.eu/.

We are only 18 days away from the vote on the report on the need for reform
of the Copyright Directive (Infosoc) by the JURI Committee of the European
Parliament, and every vote counts.

We thank you again for your support.

Best Regards,

Vincent Bonnet |Director EBLIDA
